After the bad news a year ago, the that upcoming major motion picture of Sgt Rock was going to be made in a modern dated story, we hear good news today that Sgt Rock is going back to his roots, and will be made its orginal World War II era time period.

But I don't see him capturing the essence of Sgt. Rock... Guess we'll see. The "non-historical" characters I'm sure he could pull off though. So it may end up working.

This could either be really interesting or really bizarre to the point it sucks. I doubt they will follow the newer storyline by Tucci (who I hope to see at Comic Con this year to have them signed). If he's there, I'll ask him to see if he knows anything. He's a friendly enough guy and an advocate of reenacting and veterans.

majortom: Are there Authenticity Standards on this site? A recent report from the US Authenticity Officer states that Authenticity Standards had been posted on the CHG website a month prior to the Jan 28 battle. I have been all over the site but can't find them. Jan 31, 2015 14:09:51 GMT -8
