You can listen to a inteview with Jenny over WW2 Reenactments www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=1917000- Authenticity and Farbs - Doing Impressions rather than impressionating real people - Civil War Reenactment over commericalized - Public Reenactment versus Private Reenactments - Call in from a Women who does an East German Impression (Not a good example obviously) - Call in from a Guy doing German Panzer Impression (Better than the women's explanation, but still not very not very informative. He also gives a lame answers to questions.) - Jenny explanation of interest in German impression. - Interest to participate in history.

I own and have read this book. It's interesting. I do see a lot of parallels to California reenacting, but I think we have a different factors and issues on things out here which makes us somewhat unique. Also, the book was written years ago, shortly after Band of Brothers, and WWII reenacting was large and growing, but not fully matured.
