New to the CHG Forum!

Hello,
I Just thought that an introduction would be the proper way to get me started here on the CHG forums. My name is Cameron Colyer, I live in Northern California, I have a strong interest in History and WW2 as a whole;I have done a few Vietnam reenactments in my younger years but WW2 has always been my core interest. I've already started my German Impression and have been looking for a unit, I've meet up the the 21st panzer guys before and they seem like a really great group to join, just looking to see if there is a unit based closer to me up north so I could make it to events easier.
I currently have:
Lost battalions M36 Tunic with all proper Heer insignia
M40 trousers from Hessen Antique
M36 greatcoat from Hessen Antique
Original trouser suspenders
Leather equipment belt and Heer buckle
Leather 5 leg Y straps
K98 leather ammo pouches (pair)
Breadbag
Canteen with metal cup
Messkit and Strap
Straight E tool and Cover
Bayonet and leather frog
Original gasmask canister
Very early post war Jackboots(smooth leather, layered leather wood pegged soles, hobnails,toe cleats and heel plates.)
M35 Helmet
M43 field cap
Wool scarf
and a 1939 dated Mauser k98

Hi, Cameron. The 21st Panzer is a great unit and a good bunch of guys. However, if you're looking for a unit closer to you, you should check in with the 352nd Infanterie (click on our link under the Axis Units section). A majority of them are based in Northern California and find events local to them as well as attend the ones we host. Sounds like you've got a lot of kit covered. Link up with one of the units and make sure you're staying on track with a solid impression and maybe tips on where to find things.
