Your unit has invested in a period Tent, only to discover you have a major rip, tear or hole. Most will live with it until the rips get worse and worse. Not knowing what to do, simply makes the matter worse. Your unit may or may have guys who know how to repair it. But why wait for them, when you can repair it yourself?

What you need is the following

1. Sewing Awl - $16
2. Wax Thread (you get plenty with with the Sewing Awl)
3. Shoe Goo, to hold down and seal the patch
4. Olive Drab Canvas Fabric Army Duck Fabric
