I am a freelance cameraman working in the UK for the likes of the BBC, ITN and Fox News.
In 1994 I produced a programme called "D-Day Heroes" which made to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of D-Day. The programme was later shown on the History Channel and Discovery.
Whilst making the film it was my privilege to met many of the key players in the Normandy landings including Len Lomell of the 2nd Ranger battalion.
The following is a clip is from Battlefield to Remembrance ( The Director's Cut) which has been is re edited from two previous released programmes "Battlefield to Remembrance" and "Somewhere in Southern England". It includes perviously unseen material including an interview with Len Lomell and gives a unique insight into how Limeys approach Living History.
The programme features the beaches of Normandy , Biggin Hill and the world famous War and Peace Show.
In addition to Battlefield to Remembrance this twin DVD includes a professionally edited home movie covering the Rangers visit to Normandy on the 50th anniversary of D- Day.
The twin DVD is available from Amazon or Ebay
