Event Safety: All attendees must adhere to the CHG Safety Bylaws (Article V) and will be held accountable for knowing the rules. Special consideration should be given to the following topics for this unique site:
- Absolutely no firing weapons in to or inside buildings. You MAY fire from inside a building out, provided the muzzle is clear outside an opening and that opening is at least a 2 foot square opening (think a normal window size). This can be a door opening, a window opening, a breach in a wall, etc. Ensure that no one is hiding on the other side of the wall your are shooting out of. If you cannot stick your head out of the opening you wish to shoot out of, with helmet on, do not shoot out of it.
- No Blind Firing. Blind firing is discharging your weapon without looking directly down the sights of the firearm. Eyes must always facing the direction the weapon is pointed when pulling the trigger.
- Any projected weapons (rifle grenades, panzerfausts, etc) MUST be fired at a 45 degree angle. DO NOT FIRE AT ZERO ANGLE INTO A BUILDING OPENING.
- Stay clear of all armored vehicles. Do not place yourself between an armored vehicle and a structure if the space is less than twenty feet.
- Combat within buildings can only be done so by verbally calling out shots.
- There will be no hand to hand combat permitted at this event.
Minors, Ages 15-17: If you have a minor attending the event, you must have a written permission form from the parent or legal guardian signed and notarized prior to attending. 15-year-olds are not permitted to carry a firearm, per CHG Bylaws.
